Protect Wildlife

Tell the Governor of Montana to stop hazing Yellowstone bison

bison hazingThe Montana Department of Livestock started its annual ritual of bison hazing.  Frightened calves and their mothers were chased for miles as helicopters and horses forced America’s most significant wild bison herd to cease their natural grazing habits and return to Yellowstone. Tell Montana's Governor to stop the senseless hazing.

Protect Wildlife

Tell Wyoming's Director of the Bureau of Land Management to protect wildlife habitat

AC_elkTell the WY BLM Director to protect Wyoming’s wildlife heritage by limiting industrial development in critical wildlife habitat.  Lands in the Upper Green River Basin, Absoraka-Beartooth Front, and other areas bordering Yellowstone National Park must be safeguarded!

Ask President Obama and Chief Tidwell to reinstate the Roadless Area Conservation Rule

AC_wilderness2Ask President Obama and Forest Chief Tidwell to reinstate the 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule and permanently protect 58.5 million acres of roadless areas on our National Forests. These areas include some of the best wildlife habitat left in America, provide us clean water, and a broad range of recreation opportunities. Ask our government to safeguard these lands from road building, logging, and oil and gas development.

Protect our Rivers

Help protect the South Fork of Snake River and Teton Rivers!

advocacy center_snake river

The Bureau of Land Management has determined that the South Fork of the Snake River and the Teton River and its tributaries are eligible for designation as Wild & Scenic. Tell them you agree – and encourage the BLM to include these eastern Idaho gems in the National Wild & Scenic Rivers System.
